Okaloosa Kennel Club
The Okaloosa Kennel Club is dedicated to public education regarding purebred dogs and sponsors one or more All-Breed dog shows and one or more Obedience trials each year, as well as a variety of activities that forward the educational purposes of the OKC.
Established February 9, 1970, Okaloosa Kennel Club, Inc. is an all-breed, not-for-profit club affiliated with the American Kennel Club (AKC). OKC is a member-only club located in Okaloosa, serving Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton and surrounding counties in Florida. The purposes of OKC are to further the advancement of all breeds of purebred dogs. To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of dog shows, obedience trials, companion events, and performance events, and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at such events. To conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows, obedience trials, companion events, and performance events for which the club is eligible under the rules and regulations of the AKC. We are dedicated to public education regarding purebred dogs, membership requirements do not exclude ownership of any dog, purebred or not.
